Private lessons are available at Mr McNutt's home studio for all percussion instruments, including timpani, mallets, snare drum, and drumset. Currently Mr. McNutt teaches at The New England Conservatory Preparatory School, The Music School of The Rhode Island Philharmonic, and Wellesley College.

New England conservatory preparatory school

Private percussion lessons are available at the New England Conservatory of Music Preparatory and Continuing Education Department. Additionally, The Preparatory Division offers a Percussion Ensemble, open to high school students by audition.

The music school of the rhode island philharmonic

The Music School of the Rhode Island Philharmonic serves approximately 14,500 children, youth and adults annually with lessons, classes, ensembles and community partnership programs. September 2008 saw the opening of the Music School's Carter Center for Music Education and Performance on Waterman Avenue in East Providence. This state of the art facility has over 30 private studios, an early childhood wing, a jazz/rock/percussion wing, and 2 large recital/rehearsal halls. 

Wellesley college

Private lessons are available at Wellesley College for students enrolled at the college. Either music majors or members of the general student body may take lessons.
